Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Remodel Command HQ is a product of and operated by Dynamic Cursor LLC ("Dynamic Cursor," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how Dynamic Cursor collects, uses, and shares information through the Remodel Command HQ software (the "Service"), and describes the choices available regarding that information — including SMS and email communications.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
Name, email address, phone number, and company information you provide when creating an account or using the Service.
Customer and project data
Information that a remodeling company using the Service ("Customer") enters about its own customers, projects, estimates, invoices, and communications, in order to run their business through the Service. If you are a homeowner or customer of one of these companies, most of your information reaches us because the company you're working with entered it, not because you signed up directly.
Usage information
Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and how the Service is used, collected automatically to operate and improve the Service.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To send transactional communications, such as estimate, invoice, payment, and scheduling notifications, by email and/or SMS (see Section 4);
- To process payments through our payment processing partners;
- To respond to support requests;
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.
4. SMS and Email Communications
Remodel Command HQ, and the remodeling companies who use it, may send transactional messages by email and/or SMS text message — for example, estimate updates, invoice and payment notices, appointment and schedule reminders, and project status updates.
SMS consent. By providing your mobile phone number to a company using Remodel Command HQ, you consent to receive SMS text messages from that company related to your project, such as estimates, invoices, payment reminders, and appointment or schedule notifications. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency varies based on your project activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: reply STOP to any SMS message at any time to stop receiving further text messages. Reply HELP for help. After opting out, you may still receive messages for a short period while the request is processed, and can be re-subscribed only by providing a new opt-in.
No mobile information — including phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent status — is sold, shared, or otherwise disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. It is used solely to deliver the transactional messages described above and, where necessary, shared with our SMS delivery infrastructure provider strictly to send those messages on our behalf.
Dynamic Cursor account texts. Dynamic Cursor LLC may also send account text messages (billing and subscription notices, security alerts, and replies to support requests) to Remodel Command users who opt in by entering their mobile number and checking the consent box under My text alerts in the app (shown at remodelcommand.com/sms). Consent is not required to use the Service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
Email consent and opt-out. Transactional emails (such as invoice and payment notices) are sent as part of the Service itself. Any marketing email we send separately will include an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe and opt-out requests promptly.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers who help us operate the Service, such as our hosting provider, database provider, payment processor, email delivery provider, and SMS delivery provider — each solely to perform services on our behalf;
- Within a Customer's own account — Remodel Command HQ is used by companies to manage their own customers, so information a company enters is visible to that company;
- If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Remodel Command HQ, our users, or others;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
Text messaging data is never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as recordkeeping for financial transactions. Companies using the Service can request export or deletion of their data as described in the Service.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, and can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting support@remodelcommand.com or the company you are working with directly.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
